Espere Kay (Hope House) is a transition home for young adult orphans in Haiti. Due to the enforcement of a federal mandate by the government, children over the age of 18 are no longer allowed to live in an orphanage. Unfortunately, at this age, most are not finished with their high school education, they have no trades/skills, and they have not had the opportunity to go on to post secondary education. As a result, they are either being sent back to families who can not provide for them or they are being left unequipped to fend for themselves. At Espere Kay, it is our mission to house, feed, educate and disciple these, and future young adult orphans from Loving Hands Orphanage or as God provides, until they are equipped to be independent young men and women of Christ in Haiti. We currently have 8 young adults living at Espere Kay who fall into this category.

Currently we have two ways to sponsor a young adult. One is by providing a monthly fee of $140 which will provide food, water, transportation, clothes and other basic needs. Secondly, you may choose to sponsor a young adult in their education at a cost of $720 per year. Please be aware that faithfulness and consistency are just as important as the pledge itself. Should you ever choose to cancel your sponsorship please notify us immediately.

We also encourage you to consider going on a short term mission trip to Haiti to meet the children and to take part in future work and/or medical projects.
